President Aimee called the meeting to order by asking Mike Emmons to lead us in the pledge. Scott Kaupin led us in the 4-way test. Greg Stokes offered up grace.
Aimee thanked all the members who helped at the home show. Next year we need to put a small ad-hoc committee together to plan for the home show.
We have 2 applicants for the scholarships. We will send out targeted Facebook ads to see if we can generate more interest. Thanks to Joyce Keating for donating $20 for the ads.
Greg Stokes has lined up a speaker for the next meeting. Lt Pedemonti will speak about the Police Explorer program. If you have some one to speak please email Greg their name and contact info.
In May we will not be serving at Enfield Loaves and Fishes due to the road race being that morning.
Excellent reports on the Friendly’s hosting the Rotary Breakfast.
June 2nd our meeting will be at Asnuntuck for High School recognition.
On May 4th we will have a social get together with Somers Rotary. Our club was the original sponsor of the Somers club. Please join us at Bond 124 in Somers at 2:00 for a social get-together. It will be a chance for us to meet our neighbors. Food will be off the menu.
