Enfield Rotarians donated $660 for the Boy Scout group challenge, added to the donation from Milt and Rita and the $600 from the board brings the total donation to $1860.
The first Cinco K Mayo meeting was held after the main meeting. The race is our major fundraiser for the year if you would like to help the next meeting will be Feb 16th after the club meeting.
Mike Cotnoir reported have received 29 orders for the Military Banners. We have 119 poles available. On May 23rd the New England Air Museum will have a STEM program. The Club will sponsor Enfield students to participate.
Scholarship application will launch shortly. The application has been simplified to 2 categories. Milt updated that the fund is at $410,000 on the goal to be at $500,000.
Our Guest speaker was past District Governor Christine Burns discussing community recycling project for plastic that is nontraditionally recycling like bread bags. Trex has a program that you if you donated 1000 lbs in a year they will donate a bench. Bags are collected in the community and dropped at local collection points to go back to Trex.
